RV-E Detail 1
RV-E Detail 2
The standard coaxial RV-E reducer has excellent performance in a very compact and high-precision component configuration. Therefore, it is widely used in the robotics industry and various mechanical transmission industries.
The RV-E reducer includes a patented two-stage reduction design, which can provide greater torque, as well as a high reduction ratio and high impact load resistance under the premise of ensuring high precision and light weight. The RV-E reducer uses a unique pin tooth and RV gear structure with a cycloidal design of rolling contact parts to reduce wear, extend service life, and reduce backlash, making it more resistant to impact than traditional reducers.
The integrated angular bearing of the RV-E reducer increases the rigidity of the reducer and realizes the ability of the reducer to support larger external loads. Therefore, the need for external support equipment is reduced, the number of parts required is reduced, the reliability is increased, and the total cost is reduced.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
What is the main advantage of the RV-E reducer?
The RV-E reducer features a patented two-stage reduction design that provides high torque, exceptional precision (backlash < 1 arc-min), and strong impact load resistance in a compact, lightweight package.
In which industries are these reducers typically used?
They are widely utilized in the robotics industry, medical equipment, semiconductor manufacturing, and various high-precision mechanical transmission systems.
How does the integrated angular bearing benefit the design?
The integrated angular bearings increase rigidity and allow the reducer to support larger external loads directly. This reduces the need for external support equipment, lowering total costs and design complexity.
Can the RV-E reducer handle emergency stops?
Yes, the robust design allows for peak torque values up to 5 times the rated torque in short durations, such as during an emergency stop.
What reduction ratios are available?
We offer a wide variety of ratios ranging from 31:1 up to 192.4:1, and even up to 250:1 in specific configurations without increasing the unit's physical size.
How is the vibration minimized in these units?
Vibration is reduced through a patented two-stage reduction mechanism where the cycloid gears rotate at a lower speed and the input shaft size is optimized to reduce inertia.
